Poljot Aviator -08

What a piece of crap this was! Made worse only by my terrible judgement call of buying a low-quality silicone strap which gathered all the dust and dirt everywhere making it even look bad - and not in a good way.

I love Poljots as much as the next watch enthusiast and while this was an auction find it got nearly zero wrist time. Being almost free, it was no surprise that it ran like shit. No problem, that was fixed but after I got it running like I wanted, believe or not, it was my time to experience of the crown dropping of like with the infamous Aquaracer 500. As this was originally meant to be a true party watch with absolutely not water resistance, accuracy or value for that matter, it was time to leave this be. And it was what I did indeed.

Housing a 17 jewel manual wind Poljot cal. 2614.2H which made it run for some forty hours with a full reserve.
Fixed it, sold it - not a good deal for me. There are two pictures below. You don't have to look. Moving along..
